Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Naples
Private luxury transfer from Naples airport or train station,
personal greeting by your Amalfi Life host, welcome drinks
and dinner.
Day 2 - Meet the People & Their
Wines
Experience the rhythm of daily life in the village of
Amalfi; the 13th century Duomo and Cloister, Papermill
Museum, Limoncello maker, private visits to local artisans
and shops. Lunch at one of our seaside favorites. Later
we explore the pretty village of Positano in the glow
of sunset.
A charming Cantina, owned by sommeliers, hosts a tasting
of the Wines of Campania paired with exceptional local
specialties.
Day 3 - Naples & Pompei
Together with our special guide we navigate the mysterious
byways of Spaccanapoli, Naples' old town center crammed
with history. A visit to the Archeological Museum, a treasure-house
of antiquities, prepares us for our afternoon exploration
in Pompei. Lunch will be some of the best Neapolitan pizza
we have found in this city.
Dinner in hotel.
Day 4 - Southern Cooking,
Northern Wines
Secrets of Amalfi's great seafood dishes revealed in this
morning's cooking class at a famous trattoria. Enjoy the
finished products at a sumptuous 4 course lunch complete
with perfectly matched wines. An afternoon visit to the
adorable village of Ravello; its famous villas, gardens,
and shops of ceramics and rare jewelry.
Dinner and wine tasting featuring the Wines of Piemonte.
Day 5 - Wine Country of Avelino
The hills surrounding the town of Avellino in central
Campania are mother-earth to grape varieties such as Greco
and Aglianico, introduced here by the Greeks over 2,000
years ago. We explore the vineyards, taste the wines,
and meet a new generation of tradition-loving winemakers
attracting the attention of the conoscenti worldwide.
Wine tasting and sumptuous lunch included.

Day 6 - Paestum and Vannulo Mozzarella
We visit the Cilento region, south of Salerno, to see
the Greek Temples at Paestum and the Vannulo Organic Farm,
where the milk of 400 contented buffalo produces divine
mozzarella di bufala. We tour the farm and have a decadent
snack at the Café.
La Caravella Restaurant in Amalfi has 2 Michelin stars
and a passionately tended wine cellar, making it a fitting
location for a wine lover's dinner.
Day 7 - Leisure Day
Relax, shop, swim, Drink Wine!
Lunch on your own.
Farewell Dinner at the Torre Saracena open-air restaurant
of the Luna Convento Hotel.
Day 8 - Departure
Private luxury transfer from Amalfi to Naples airport
or train station.
Cost: Euro 2900 per person, based on
