San Giuseppe is a large square-shaped flat located within a cluster of white-washed homes perched on a cliffside above the Amalfi Drive. Don't worry - there are not many steps, only a short stone staircase leading to the entrance door.
Two of the three bedrooms and the living room have direct access to the front balcony and panoramic view. The third bedroom is in the interior of the flat and has a picture window. It also has the ensuite bath.
The living room has a big sofa, 2 easy chairs, TV, radio and cassette player. There is a lovely oval table and upholstered chairs that can be used as a dining area in addition to the separate dining room.
The kitchen is well-equipped and made for use. It has abundant cookware and a full set of beautiful local ceramic dishes. There is a working fireplace and an adjacent cozy sitting area. The flowered terrace, with its overhanging pergola, is reached from a door off the kitchen. On the terrace is a ceramic table and chairs for dining al fresco.
The dining room connects the view-facing side of the flat to the kitchen-terrace side. It has a round antique table draped with a pretty lace tablecloth.
San Giuseppe is user-friendly, cheerful and gets a lot of TLC from its owner, who is always dreaming up new ways to improve it.

San Giuseppe is in the hillside community of Furore, located midway between the villages of Positano and Amalfi. Proud Furore is where grapes and olives grow on ancient terraces on picturesque farms and vineyards. There is no lack of great eating and drinking in Furore. One of southern Italy's most distinguished wine producers, Marisa Cuomo Winery, is located here.
We recommend having a car rental in this location. Even though it is nearby to the other villages and to all parts of the Coast - Furore is not well-served by the public buses. From Furore it takes 20 minutes to drive to either Positano or Amalfi Village and 15 minutes to the closest beach.
Note - All guests must be willing and able to walk steps, not only at this property, but throughout the Amalfi Coast in order to fully enjoy what the region has to offer. Please consult with us.
